Bio feature: Members can now post a more extensive description in the
"Bio" field. Your bio will be displayed only when you have
active performances scheduled in ZBands. To use
this feature, logon then select the "profile changes" link. Within
your profile you can add your bio info to the item labeled "Bio."

Airtime feature: Members can now post Radio and TV airtime
performances. To use this feature, logon then select
the "profile changes" link. Within your profile you can add
airtime info to the item labeled "Airtime."
Special Events feature: Members can now post Special Event notices. To use this feature, logon then select
the "profile changes" link. Within your profile you can add
special event
info to the item labeled "Special events."
Visitors to ZBands
can view all Airtime and Special Events by selecting the corresponding link
from the ZBands
home page.

Photo credit: Members can now post credit info that will be displayed
under their photo. This can be just a photographers name or can be a link to
the photographers web site. To use this feature, logon then select
the "profile changes" link. Within your profile you can add credit
info to the item labeled "Photo credit."

winner of our first Battle of the ZBands
competition.

Now bands can indicate when they are in-studio. Has your band temporarily
discontinued live performances in favor of writing new music and/or working
in-studio? If so, ZBands provides each
band with a profile setting that will alert the general public as to this
status. To set this, simply logon, select "profile/cd changes",
then set the in-studio option to "yes".

Battle of the ZBands begins on November 5th.
The first competition will be for rock genre bands, followed by blues
genre bands.

Several bands have never submitted their band picture. Soon, we will need to
remove those bands that do not have a picture posted.

Please make sure that your bands email address is correct within your ZBands
profile. Several bands appear to have incorrect email addresses and we have
have been unable to contact those bands via email. In the future, we will
need to delete member profiles for members that have incorrect email
addresses.
