Battle
of the
ZBands
These questions and answers are
primarily for member bands. This page documents the specifics regarding
the Battle of the
ZBands.
1.
What does the winning band win? The winning band will be featured as the Battle of
the ZBands winner, on the ZBands
home page for a two week period.
2.
Which genre and bands will be eligible to compete
in Battle
of the ZBands? The first Battle
of the ZBands competition (beginning in November) will feature Rock genre bands.
Competitions for other genres will follow. Bands interested in
competing, should email barb@zbands.com
to indicate their interest in being part of these competitions. Each Battle
of the ZBands competition will be comprised of four to six bands.
3.
Who can cast a vote in this competition? Basically anyone that visits ZBands can cast a vote. Member bands can vote, friends of member bands and the
general public can also vote.
4.
Can people cast more than one vote?
Yes and no. The way voting actually takes place is via email. Only one vote
can be cast per email address. We do realize that some people will be able
to cast more than one vote, since they have multiple email addresses.
5.
What criteria should be used by voters when
evaluating the bands?
We don't necessarily dictate the criteria, although the quality of a bands
music is very likely to be considered. Each ZBands
visitor will establish their own criteria.
6.
How
long will a competition run?
Seven days.

How can a band improve their chance of winning Battle of the ZBands?
We suggest the following:
1.
Upload your best mp3 onto ZBands.
2.
Tell all your fans and friends to visit ZBands
and cast a vote.
